Dodge Truck still attracts many
Dodge Truck the name included a lineup of medium and heady duty trucks that Dodge manufactured in the past. Dodge manufactured D series trucks which were medium duty and the L series were heavy duty. Most of the models for these trucks were introduced in the sixties. Now let’s get the D series of trucks into focus.  Any Dodge truck that rated more than one ton was considered a Medium Duty Truck and all of the D series trucks weighted more than one ton. The series started with D-400 which was the lightest and weighted 1-1/2 ton with max GVW of 14,000 lbs. The heaviest in the lineup was Dodge D700 that classified as a three ton truck and was rated max GVW 25,000 lbs. Dodge D700 Trucks Dodge trucks were built to carry large loads and so as the Dodge D700. The D series trucks from Dodge were Medium Duty trucks and included a number of models. Most of the Dodge medium duty trucks came into picture from 1961 to 1974. These trucks is being scattered around many years there is very limited information for this historic trucks.
